A functional pouch is a delivery system, and we were among the first in the UK to make nootropic pouches. We develop nicotine-free pouches on a slow-release, dry-format platform we built ourselves, with the actives, strength, release and flavour engineered to your brief, and the formula is yours.

Brands use them for caffeine and energy, focus, calm and everyday wellness, and for actives that don’t suit a capsule. Every pouch we make for this range contains no nicotine and no tobacco.

What are nootropic and energy pouches?

A pouch sits between lip and gum and releases its actives in the mouth, where some, such as caffeine, cross its lining directly. How fast an active releases depends on the filler matrix, particle size, moisture and pH, and every active behaves differently. That is the formulation work.

Our pouches use a dry, slow-release format: a filler matrix that carries the actives, flavour and sweetener and releases them steadily while the pouch is in place. Moisture, particle size and pH are set in development and written into your specification.

What are functional pouches made of?

Can functional pouches carry health claims?

Claims must come from the authorised register in GB and the EU. Vitamins and minerals in the pouch can carry their authorised claims at the right dose, and we check what can be said in each market you sell in.

Who owns the pouch formula?

You do. The blend, strength, release profile and flavour we develop for you belong to your brand, with the specification and the data behind them.

What is the minimum order quantity?

There’s no standard minimum, because there’s no standard product. Minimums depend on your formula, format and packaging, and your quote sets out the first order size.
