Our UK supplement factory, where everything we sell is made

British VitaTech is the trading name of BVT Labs Ltd, a contract manufacturer of custom supplements and cosmetics for premium wellness brands. Our supplement factory in the UK is at 1 Brook Street, Whetstone, in the Blaby district of Leicestershire, south of Leicester. Clean-room production, our R&D and quality teams, and fulfilment sit on one site, so a product moves from bench to batch to dispatch without changing hands. One site means one team and one record. The people who developed your formula work a short walk from the line that makes it, which is how problems get solved quickly, and every batch record sits in one quality system. The site's BSI certificates, FDA registration and insurance

British VitaTech is ISO 9001, HACCP and GMP certified by BSI, and FDA registered. BRCGS implementation under way, certification expected in early 2027. Each BSI certificate opens in BSI's online directory, where anyone can check the holder, scope and dates:

• ISO 9001:2015 quality management: BSI certificate FS 822806, valid from 3 April 2025 to 2 April 2028.
• HACCP and GMP food safety, to Codex Alimentarius: BSI certificate HACCP 827076, valid from 23 July 2025 to 22 July 2028, covering food supplements in capsules, gummies, pouches and liquids.
• US FDA: an FDA registered food facility for dietary supplements, current to 31 December 2026 with our renewal under way, and the registration number shared in our quality pack.
• Insurance: £5m product liability insurance with worldwide cover.

How quality works on site

• We run a HACCP study for each product type, reviewed annually, and labels are verified on every batch as the critical control point.
• Suppliers are approved before any material is used and reviewed every year, and incoming materials are held until quality control releases them against their specification.
• Our allergen management plan, with yellow colour coding, controls allergens from goods-in to label.
• Every batch is tested by accredited partner laboratories (ISO/IEC 17025), and batch testing is part of every order.
• Quality control releases every batch against its specification, and nothing is dispatched without quality control sign-off. Non-conformances close only with QA and Operations sign-off.
• Every order ships with its certificate of analysis and batch release confirmation.
• We keep three retained samples per batch for shelf life plus one year.
• A full mock recall, forward and backward with mass balance, runs in seconds.

Mass balance is what makes a recall credible: the quantity of each material received is reconciled against what went into product, what remains in stock and what was wasted. Your product file holds the batch records, test results and traceability data behind every batch, the evidence your own due diligence rests on. Our testing and batch release page sets out the tests.

From goods-in to dispatch on one site, with partners behind us

We take on programmes larger than ourselves, and we and our partner network of testing laboratories, ingredient suppliers, development partners and machinery specialists scale with the brief, as our large programmes page sets out.

• Production. We make capsules, softgels, tablets, gummies, powders, sachets and stick packs, liquids, shots and sprays, liposomal formats, oral pouches, drinks, coffee and tea, bars, gum and cosmetics here. Each batch moves from goods-in and weighing to production, packing and quality control release on the one site.
• Research and development. Our R&D team develops each formula from brief to scale-up, with stability testing and sensory work. R&D is a paid stage that can be included with an order of the right size. Your formula is yours. See how our research and development works.
• Packaging. We develop and supply the packaging for every product we make, with the data brands need for packaging EPR, as our supplement packaging development page explains.
• Fulfilment. We ship finished retail units or split shipments across your fulfilment partners through our fulfilment services.

One UK pouch brand, a client since 2023, grew with us from a small brand to over 30,000 units a month. Our R&D team developed four distinct formulas for it, and we split its shipments across its fulfilment partners. Made here for the UK, the EU and the US, marketplaces included

We prepare products and documents for the UK, the EU and the US, and our clients sell in Europe, the USA and Mexico. We guided the same pouch brand through regulatory and compliance checks as it expanded into each of those markets.

• UK and EU. We screen every ingredient for novel food status in-house against the public registers and build labels with claims from the GB and EU registers in their exact wording.
• US. We are an FDA registered food facility for dietary supplements, and we share our registration number with brands and their importers on request, for the prior notice filed before each US shipment. Amazon US and TikTok Shop US are full markets: we make products for them and prepare the documents they ask for.
