CBD extracts

Isolate, broad-spectrum and full-spectrum CBD, each specified and tested for cannabinoid content and for controlled cannabinoids such as THC, with a certificate of analysis for every batch.

Isolate contains CBD alone. Broad-spectrum keeps other cannabinoids and terpenes with the THC removed, and full-spectrum keeps the plant’s wider profile within the legal limits for controlled cannabinoids. We help you choose the one that fits your product, your claims and your markets.

Cold-pressed, full-spectrum CBD

Cold-pressed CBD is extracted mechanically, without solvents or heat, so it keeps the plant’s full profile of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. It is full-spectrum only, and we build it into oils, capsules, softgels and topicals.

Its regulatory route differs from CBD isolates and distillates, so we confirm the route for each market before we formulate.

Lab testing and compliance

Every batch is tested by independent laboratories for cannabinoid content, controlled cannabinoids and contaminants.

Stability testing sets the shelf life on your label, so potency and safety hold to the last day.

Can you make CBD products under our brand?

Yes. We make CBD products under your brand, to your specification, tested batch by batch and labelled for your markets. A formula we develop for you belongs to you.

What types of CBD extract do you work with?

What is novel food status, and how does it apply to CBD?

A novel food is a food or ingredient that was not widely consumed before May 1997, and it needs authorisation before it can be sold. No CBD product is authorised in Great Britain yet. Products on the FSA public list for England and Wales, including ours, may stay on sale while their applications progress.

Are CBD products legal?

It depends on the market and the product. In the UK, CBD products must stay within strict limits on controlled cannabinoids such as THC, and in England and Wales CBD foods need to be on the FSA public list while authorisation is pending. We check the rules for each market you sell in before we formulate.

Do you offer shelf-life testing for CBD products?

Yes. Stability testing sets the shelf life on your label, so quality, safety and potency hold to the last day.

What’s the difference between OEM and ODM?

OEM manufacturing makes a product to a design you supply. ODM covers development as well: formulation, testing and production. We work both ways, and a formula we develop for you is yours.

What is the minimum order quantity?

There’s no standard minimum, because there’s no standard product. Minimums depend on your formula, format and packaging, and your quote sets out the first order size.
